Not sure if this is addressed somewhere, but does anyone know which schools (if any) give you an acceptance early (before December 1)? I need a letter of acceptance somewhere in order to apply for an AF scholarship, and I need a letter before November. Any chance?
School: University of Notre Dame
Major: Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
GPA/scienceGPA: 3.87/3.89
DAT scores: 22RC 24Math 24GChem 24OChem 19Bio 19PAT 23AA
Extra Curricular: Walk-on Notre Dame Football Team

Thank you,
Chris

Schools cannot send out acceptance letters before Dec 1st with the exception on years when the 1st falls on a weekend. You cannot get an acceptance before then especially before November and ALL branches of the military know this. I have no idea why they would ask this of you sicne this is something they deal with every year.

If you are applying for a 4-year, you do not need an acceptance. It would be impossible! Many schools give acceptances after the Air Force (and other branches) make their selections for the HPSP. You are accepted conditionally. In other words, they accept you for the HPSP and will give it to someone else if you don't end up getting into dental school anywhere. The recruiter probably assumes you want a 3-year scholarship to cover your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year of school. Now this is something you apply for after you're accepted. Make sure you're with a health professions recruiter. Check here (http://www.airforce.com/contact-us/recruiter-locator/) to find one.

You need to get this settled ASAP. Time is ticking to get everything together to submit your application for a 4-year scholarship.
