which schools are full and have no seats left? if alot of people are getting waitlisted at a school is that an indication that the class is full? lets get a list going with all the waitlisted people for all the schools, so we have an idea.

michigan state is full

Is NSU full? Four people have told me that and I really hope that it is not true. I have been accepted to 2 others but I like NSU the best:scared: :scared:

I would like to know this about KCOM because I am driving down there (10hrs) to interview on Monday.

Thanks

I interviewed at NSU-COM on Friday, Feb 6th and I received my accpetance today. Thus, I do not think they are full. They would not offer you an interview if they didn't have spots left. It costs them money to do the interviews. Plus, I know when some places are full they let you know that you would only be interviewing for the alternate list. good luck!!

In that case has anyone been informed that they will be interviewing for the alternative list?? and which schools?

All I know is that my roomate was sent an invitation to interview for the alternate list at Medical college of Wisconsin. As far as D.O. schools, I have no idea.

I heard from some current MSI's spouses (at a conference that I went to this past weekend) that UNE's class is full and they're only interviewing as spots come open. Who knows the truth to that though...

HoudyK,
I interviewed with you on Feb. 6th. I was also accepted. Have you decided where you are going to go as of yet?

A waitlist doesnt mean the school is full. It means they like you, but not that much and they will take you if they need to fill the class.

that is not true,

Some schools such as MSU are literally full. I know this because I spoke to the Dean. And as for interviewing, the school will still continue to interview candidates even though spots are not available so taht they can create a alternate list.

michmaki,

Did the dean say anything else? do they rank the alternate list? if so, are we able to find out where we are?

I'm really anxious to find out.

Sure its true. Re-read what I wrote. Waitlist does not necessarily equal full.

no, actually you are wrong with MSU's case. What you said may be true for PCOM but I can tell you that is not true for MSU. Now, if you know more than me because you talked to the president of Msu I am willing to concede, but considering that I talked to the Dean I think this is one of those instances, where you are possibly incorrect. MSU is no longer interviewing for posts, not becase they may not like someone, but because they simply have no more seats. Thank you.

Young faithful,

The Dean said they will not rank the list until March or so, and the list will not be ranked on when you interviewed, but instead on how many points you have accumulate in their particular model. Basically, we wont hear anything until then......

michmaki,
i just sent you a pm!
thanks.

s42brown are you sure there are still seats available at KCOM?

My wife works in the admissions office and she is very busy right now recruiting physicians to do interviews of the applicants. Trust me KCOM is not full. We usually dont fill until the middle of march so that they can get a look at the best applicants. KCOM continues to build a wait list so that they can keep seats open unitl early spring to hopefully fill the class with the best applicants.

I just told DMU I will not attend the class of 2008. There's one spot open for you. I still have spots saved at Western and KCOM, so that's one more opportunity to get into a class.
