Hey, so people often say having recorded lectures is a huge plus to a school. Maybe we can compile a list of schools with recorded lectures? Specify if it's video or just mp3, all or some, etc. I would start the list but I can't really remember from my interviews! 😀

Washington University in St. Louis (video)
University of Virginia
Baylor College of Medicine
Drexel (video)

SUNY Downstate (mp3 + transcripts)

This may be a dumb question but is it considered video if the school has the mp3 with the slides but it's not like a stream of what is actually occurring with prof and all?

We differentiate the two by using the terms "videocast" and "podcast". Podcast being the slides and audio, whereas video cast is the actual recorded lecture. Our school has both.

whattathread! 👍
I'll try to remember to check this place out when applying 🙂

Maybe it would be easier to list schools that don't record their lectures? I don't think I interviewed at a single school that didn't at least voice record the lectures.
