Schools with the best gyms?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
People going to UW might end up in different places for the first year because of the WWAMI program. If you chose to go to Washington State University, Pullman there are three gyms (Smith, Bohler and the Rec Center). While Smith gym is pretty old the

WSU's rec center is actually one of the best in the nation...

I misread the thread title at first. I thought it said "School with the best gyns?" Imagine my surprise...

The University of Kentucky has a good gym too. It's very easy walking distance from the hospital and med center (though that'll be moving further away in the next 5-10 years), and I think it was completed only a handful of years ago.

I'll second UK's gym. Its newish (5 years maybe?) open 6a-12a so theres plenty of time. Centrally located, decent rock wall, pool, good amount of stuff. The hospital is being built over the old parking garage and the medical school classrooms just moved across the street, so now its a 10 minute walk rather than a 5. It gets insane about 2 weeks before spring break when all the sorostitutes want to lose their spare tire so you cant find a machine, but the scenery is GREAT.

oh yea AND UNC student health provides students with sometimes free, sometimes 15 dollar professional massage therapy sessions after your workouts. it is incredible. i promise.
