Hey there --

I'm a 4th year med student going on residency interviews, getting ready to match, non-trad background, took a year off in the middle of med school to have a child, couples matching, did long distance relationship, all that good stuff ... I'd be happy to answer any questions any of you might have.

In the mean time, I was thinking some of you on the medical school interview trail could help me with my own question. I'm trying to help a faculty member with a redesign of our own curriculum here at my med school. I'm looking for programs out there that have "tracks" and "portfolio projects." Also, schools that have a condensed pre-clinical curriculum. I'd like to see how other places have approached this learning design.

Even better, among those with tracks, I'd like to find the ones that have a specific "medical education track."

It's been over 5 years since I was in your shoes researching and interviewing at all the medical school programs out there, so your help here is greatly, greatly appreciated!!! You can post here or PM me.

stanford has mandatory scholarly concentrations

GWU has optional "tracks"

cleveland clinic has mandatory portfolio

duke, NYU, columbia have condensed pre-clinical curriculums IIRC.
