Oh boy.....you just opened up the fiery gates.

I applied to all 3.....

You also consider the cost of tuition, distance from your family, atmosphere, and more factors.

I kind of agree on USC though.

I don't like the Trojans :meanie:.

I applied to 2 of those too... I'll be happy if I get in anywhere...

you should avoid the schools that dddoch is applying to 👍

jb!🙂

How come these schools should be avoided?

any school that i get into is a good school to me 👍

From what ive heard and read about USC is kinda struggling with some issues they have with their dental school such as graduation rates, fulfilling requirements, and a few others. But aside from that who are you to tell others to avoid specific dental schools?? And based on what facts??

NYU and Nova are very good dental programs with thousands of applications each year and a full class each year. Clearly you dont know what your talking about.

are you the guy who wrote about scores that if you get you HAVE to retake?

NYU, USC, and Nova.

HTH.

Everytime I read your posts, they get more and more stupid and half the time you don't even spell correctly. Don't get me wrong, I have probably made spelling mistakes or gramatical errors on here. But I just have one question for you: If you claim to be so smart and the "curve setter" for your classes, did you not take any writing classes and/or english classes???? I find it odd that you claim to be so smart but you make very simple mistakes that even someone who has taken Writing 121 would know. Now, I have a different theory: maybe you are not smart, maybe you pretend to be so you can go on here and talk sh** to SDNers who actually go on here to get advice/help. If you don't have anything nice to say please stop posting!! I don't think anyone on here respects/likes you because of your attitude. Please leave!!

yes he is the idiot that wrote that, he is also the idiot that claims to be the "curve setter" for his classes and apparently he thinks he is on the admissions committee for every dental school

i wouldn't go to any school who's football team didn't have a solid chance of winning the national championship.

i mean come on, harvard, penn, case? you'd be lucky if a touch football game ever broke out their on a saturday afternoon.

what's NYU's problem??

I know that from these boards USC is crap and Nova isnt very organized on many levels but what is the problem w/ NYU?

I chose NYU because they give out the DDS degree and I want to do surgery. You can't do surgery if you graduate from a place like Harvard or Penn because their students only get a DMD degree. You see, the name of the school doesn't matter at all, it's the content of the program.

yep, same for UF, all those who want to do real dentistry should apply to schools like Tennessee and others that give out a dds...

Your school will be what you make of it. If your school experienced sucked.....well maybe you should look in the mirror. If your school experience was really good, again give yourself a pat on the back.

i thought DDS and DMD were equivalent? someone please clarify. also, to do oral surgery, don't you need to specialize after a 4-year dental degree?

thanks in advance.
