Science gpa question

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
For AMCAS, BCPM is what is included in the "science" GPA. If a course is not under the biology, chemistry, physics, or mathematics departments, but the course is substantially focused on one of those areas, you can choose to designate that course as such. AMCAS may or may not accept your designation, and if they choose to change it, you can appeal that decision by providing evidence that the course really falls under BCPM despite the name of the course/department.

Does your science gpa refer to just bcpm courses or all science courses?

Best to go look in the AMCAS guide. There is a page that details exactly what courses go where.

There are some very counterintuitive designations. For example Astronomy is BCPM but Pharmacology is not.
