Which of these courses count towards my science gpa:

1) Animal Science 11:067:142 (3 credits)

2) Evolution of Animal Behavior 11:704:269 (3 credits)
3 )Nutrition and Health 11:709:255 (3 Credits)
4) Epidemology

What category does your school classify those classes under? That should answer your question.

The first two are animal science. The third is nutritional science. And the last is public health.

Okay so Nutrional and animal i can clearly see fall under science but Epidemology which falls under public health is listed in Other Non Science thus it doesn't count?

I sent a message to AACOMAS but they havent replied back and it has been 2 days

At my undergrad Epidemiology was classified as a Public Health prefix, but at my post-bac Epidemiology is classified as a Biology prefix. If your prefix is something like "PUB HEALTH EPIDEM" then it's an other non-science, but if it's something like "BIOL EPIDEM" then it's an other science.

it doesnt even matter, classify what you think MIGHT be science as science, because if AACOMAs doesnt deem it as science theyll just change it anyways, no penalty. Thats what I did, and they changed a few things. AACOMAs quotes "we can not advise you on what a science class is". so yea, you get to basically call whatever you want science and if they dont like it, they change it.

They said 1,3,4 are science classes and NOT the animal behavior one...

But Animal Behavior is under Ecology in my school, thus doesn't that go under Other Sciences lol. I replied with that and they just repeated the same answer again -__-'

Yes, but if you have an ******* AACOMAS employee doing your verification they might send it back to you and delay your verification.

I suggest everyone just use the course classification they provide.

thats funny. they literally told me "use your best judgement we cant advise you on science classes" when I asked. i guess it depends on who reads your messages. I think some check more than others.
