Science GPA with Statistics

I received a B- in my first semester statistics class. It was a lot harder than anticipated because it is a weed out pre-commerce class at UVA which I wasn't aware of unfortunately. I wont have many other science classes besides the requirements and some upper level biology classes in my schedule because I plan on majoring in Sociology and Spanish. Should I be worried about the 2.7 I received for this 4 credit class?

One grade does not a college GPA make. If your sGPA and overall GPA are good, you have nothing to worry about.

this can look bad when you have only 30 credits on your record but you'll graduate with 120 credits or more meaning that those missing grade points will make a smaller and smaller impact on your GPA as the denominator rises with additional time in school.
