Due to a last minute LOR dilemma, I might have to submit two letters from adjunct professors who taught me in a bio lab and chem lab, respectively, to satisfy my two science professor requirement. Do you think this will hurt me? The chem lab professor can speak to my ability to use lab equipment/technology as well as my chemistry knowledge.

It is not the most ideal situation, but those letters are better than no letters.

Are they actual professors who teach labs, or are they TAs?

It is hard to imagine a "professor" teaching a lab course.

They are actual adjunct faculty--not TAs.

TA's teach the labs but professors oversee them (indirect supervision)

The school where I am taking classes doesn't have TAs (they have small class sizes so probably no need).

I have seen plenty of professors teaching upper-level lab courses.

As for lower-level labs attached to prereqs--I have seen adjunct faculty teach this at a smaller college, but usually TA's do it at medium sized to larger sized colleges from what I have seen.
