I know the general consensus is to have 2 science LOR and 1 non science LOR. my question is, does science refer to those classes only considered in the BCPM gpa?

I ask this because I took a class on the intro to medicine, a class that will not count toward my BCPM and am thinking about requesting a letter (the professor who would be writing it is part of the college of medicine, if that matters). I was wondering if this would count as a "science" LOR, or a non-science LOR?

Non-science LOR.

ask a few medscool adcom offices and see what they say

Both of my sci recs were from non-BCMP classes, and I got over 10 interviews. Now there's a chance I would have gotten even more, but I doubt that's the reason.
