I have taken a number of Anat, phsio, Micro, Cell, Immunology, Molecular, Histology, Chem, ochem, physics ect and have an undergrad with @ 3.2 GPA. I have found a number of Masters in nursing programs where one becomes a RNP with a masters but it is a 3 year program.

Dose anyone know of programs or private programs that can bypass the science classes and get straight to the nursing classes and rotations and get a RN in like a year or less? No masters, no bost bach just a RN.

Anyone know the difference in pay of an RN and RNP that has a masters?

In a clinical setting do they really care if you have a 2 year RN or a 4 year RN or if you all do the same thing and have the same experience do you get the same pay?

i'm in a similar position as you. unc chapel hill has a 14 month accelerated program (or a 2 year program) for students with another degree. nyu, columbia, and pace university in new york also have second degree programs. i'm sure you could find a school in almost any area that has such a second degree program. good luck

getting an AS degree in nursing (2yrs only) can make you become an RN. since you have the required pre-reqs (A&P, Chem, Micro- could be more depends on school-but these are the basic requirements) you just have to apply to a nursing program and get started with the rotations and nursing classes (check though, coz there's usually a waiting list 🙁 )

in the clinical setting, there is not much difference in having a 4yr (BSN) or a 2yr (AS)...

if you want a quickie (a year) you can try LPN school (technical schools)
