SCLA honor society?

I got an email from them saying I got nominated. Is there any value in these societies? They made it seem pretty convincing with all the supposed benefits it gives. I was in a honors society in high school because my parents forced me too and it was a complete sham, so I’m thinking that it’s going to be a waste of time.

Does your college have an active chapter that regularly engaged in events?

If so, probably worth.
If not, ditch it and don’t look back.
