I’ve seen this posted in the surgeon forum years ago. It’s not clear what they are doing in the operating room. Are they functioning as PAs? Are they performing the procedure in its entirety? No regulation? Seems odd but I mean not surprising. NHS budgets are drum tight so turning a bunch of what amount to technicians loose on the system is probably just what they were looking for. Online courses and minimal operating experience...sounds great.

I’m sure when M4A passes they’ll be pulling the same nonsense in the US.
