Score Postings in Dec/Jan?

Does anyone know the LATEST one can take STEP 1 to get a score posted by the end of the calendar year? I've been told the NBME takes a winter break and I need a score posted by January 4th.

I suppose you have to subtract three weeks from the last Wednesday on December. Since the last Wednesday is the 30th, I suppose you should be taking your Step 1 on 9th of December at the LATEST. Preferably a week before that just in case of a delay of some sort.

I found out that NBME usually takes APPROXIMATELY 1 week off with no score reporting in December for the holiday. I suppose the question is what week (or weeks) will be taken off (there is 12/21-12/25 and 12/28-1/2). Does anyone know the previous years' final score reporting dates (ex 2006-2008) so we can better estimate?
