Hi ...
how long does it take for ada to send score reports to the dental schools......I am planning to take my exam in sep....deadline for UCSF is 30th Sep......I was wondering if I will be able to make it....I am confused abt first or second week of sep........

they say 15 days .. but when i applied they sent it within 2 days.
but u have to wait for ure results to come out first only then can u apply to send the scores, thus u land up wasting time there..(i had asked if i could send the application to report scores before i got the scores .. they said no...)
the scores can sometimes take upto 3 weeks ..
the first time i gave it , it took 12 days , second time , 3 weeks.
i personally feel take it end AUg... so u have enough time to get ure results , apply for reporting scores and then sending the reports.
i gave my exam end dec last year, got my results on 15th jan, immediately fedex ed them the application to report scores... they processed the applcation within 2 days and sent it .. i just made it 2 days before the deadline...

trying to give my part 2 before school starts..but i dont c that happening... 🙂 🙁

i got my score, i got 89, do u think i have any chance for admission, do they give preference to dental anatomy score than the average score, i scored 94 in dental anatomy, what schools can i apply with these scores ?

CAn you tell me about:

1)What is the score required to get into good dental college?
2)when does the score of PArt 1 come after giving exam?
3)is the score in percentage or Percentile???

FYI- UCLA has sep 1st as deadline for 2006. SO try to take the exam 5 weeks before the deadline date of the school to be on safe side. All the best

well the higher the score the better. min atleast 90 to be on the safe side, not that u cannot manage in colleges below that./.. but higher u get the better it is..
when i went for my interview, i thought i had a great score till i realized that there were people with 95-96!!! so aim HIGH..!!

if u give PBT ..it takes about 6 -8 weeks.. i think..
but with CBT.. u get ure results in 10days to max 3 weeeks.. upper upper limit...

ure score is a precentile.... NOT percentage..

congrats on ure score...
im sure ull manage somewhere with 89.. apply to as many programmes as possible...i dont think they look specifically at DA/occlusion scores... they look at teh total score... 94 is a great score congrats..

1)) People keep taking exam at different times in a year , so how do they compare percentiles of people taking exam at dfferent times

2)What is the weightage given to intverview ?

3)does good TOEFL score help

hi there,
how r ur preps going on?i just started it today.
Wht materials r u refering to prepare for this hard exam.I m reading alone ,finding it difficult to work with it alone.
I hope u can suggest me something to work with the intiation of prep.
As much i know decks r useless for prep of part 1,becoz,this time in july exam,only few qus came from it,how much does it help in part2 exam.
