score return time for version 2

Anyone know how long it's going to take to get version2 scores back? i know those that took v1 have been getting their scores back in about 3 weeks, but i took v2. anyone know or get their score back that had v2?

I've heard that scores used to be released at midnight the "night before" the score release date, when have people been receiving the scores? I also heard they post your scores before they send the emails?

Just curious, can you request for one version over another or is it kind of randomly assigned and dependent where you take it?

You take what you get- and by now, they should almost all be V2. Any replies about what time people have been receiving scores back?

According to everything I've heard, students taking Step I between May and the "end of June" will get their scores on July 15th. I took the test on 6/27/09 and I'm wondering what the "end of June" cut off is exactly and if I made it or if I'll get more scores later.

i'm thinking end of june means no one who took it at the end of june will get their scores back quicker than normal ie around 3 weeks just because of the july 15th date. i'm not sure what date at the end of june this puts the cutoff at though

also, I don't think the whole "if taken between may and end of june...july 15" thing is true because my classmates who took v1 in early june got their scores last wednesday. just an fyi

well, yeah, we're all talking about v2 though. v1 is the same as it was by all accounts

you can check it online. i don't think that they actually mail the scores out anymore. These days, almost everything is done online. They email you a link to their site, and you check it there 🙂

i don't know exactly what they'll email since i haven't received my score yet, but i heard from my friends that they send a link to their site... and then you have to put in your usmle id number (or something like that) and then it'll let you view your scores. i heard that it's on the same page where your scheduling permit link and other stuff is located. Not 100% sure though
