If I choose the reciprocation route, do I still have to take the Georgia practical exam? If yes, any advice on where I can find some prep resources for the practical?

why would you even want to go the reciprocal route when you have score transfer option? I think to score transfer only costs like $75 vs a reciprocation which may costs couple hundred.

Do a score transfer. When you first get licensed, the state you take your exam for and any states you score transfer to are considered states of original license. Why is this important? Later on if you move you can only reciprocate a license from a state you were originally licensed in. You always have to keep an active license in a state you were originally licensed in. If not you have to take the NAPLEX over again if you want reciprocate to another state.

Plus the score transfer is much cheaper.

If you get your GA license via transfer/reciprocity, you do NOT have to take the practical exam! (just the GA MPJE). But, yeah it is more expensive ($350 to NABP for preliminary application, $250 to GA BOP, $200 to take the MPJE), so it's ~ $800 (plus the cost of license renewal in an additional state). This is the route I am currently taking- it is definitely the best option for me.
