If you take a practice exam that has 31 questions in the Physical science section and get 9 wrong what does that equate to in MCAT scoring 😕

It's hard to say because MCAT scoring is based on a group of people taking it, so it's different and very specific for each test. It's unfortunate that many tests don't include a chart.

If you REALLY REALLY want a number, you can take the ratio (22/31), multiply by 77 and compare it to a full length scale you have...but like I said, that might not be very accurate since they're two different tests.

There's really no way to tell. If those nine questions came mostly from one section, then there's no guarantee that you would get proportionately more questions wrong in a full-scale PS section. Furthermore, scaled scores have to be determined by looking at the "curve" as it applies to a specific test administration. Unless the reference material you're using has a conversion chart, I don't think you can get a scaled score.

Don't concnentrate on that right now, anyway. Focus instead on learning why you got those questions wrong, then study up and take another practice exam.
