I wish I could sleep until 3/20. This waiting is awful. I had a dream the other night when I was on call (i.e. sleeping in the hospital) that I didn't match and had to scramble into internal medicine. I started awake, freaked when I realized I was in the hospital, and then remembered that I'm still a fourth year student a month before the match. Awful.

I'd rather expose my genitals to a starving goat than scramble into IM. I interviewed at 10 programs and ranked 10. I'm not a complete ****** and can carry on a conversation, so I'm confident I'll get in somewhere...but scramble into IM :scared:

ditto on the wanting to sleep until then. i wish they made coma-strength extended release ambien so i could be GCS 3 and not have to think about anything. my husband is taking me camping in death valley the weekend before and says that all match-related talk is verboten, and that he will keep me either hiking or drunk until i comply.

scrambling into IM (or a DO internship at a particular local hospital) is a fate too painful to contemplate right now. :scared:

it's a good thing i'm on radiology for the next 4 weeks cuz i'm already a freaking basket case and seeing patients would be worse.

I have the same nightmare. Luckily I'm not on a call rotation. I'm sure waking up in the hospital makes it worse. I think I'm more waiting for the email on the 17th than the whole match. I'll be fine in any of the 14 programs that I ranked. Yeah, it would be great to know where I'm going and start planning, but all I really need to know is that I matched.

Gosh...I had those nightmares before getting into med school....and def prior to the match...except I always ended up homeless under a bridge (not in the scramble)....hmmmmm

Now you have suggested a new fear...thanks.

22 days left by my count. 21 nights of 😴😱:scared:😴

Some computer somewhere probably already knows if we have a job or not :scared:

This can't be healthy....
