Does the real reading section have the little box that you can drag up & down to quickly get to any paragraph or one has to use the up & down arrows to go up and down one line at a time? Does the computer freeze for a few seconds to load some of the questions from their intra-network or one can go from one question to the next very quickly? Is each question (with all its answer choices) viewable in one screen shot? I have many technical difficulties with the reading test that comes with the kaplan's CD that comes with the review notes. I hope the real test is not like that. Thanks so much in advance.

The mice have no scroll wheels
there is scroll bar on the side
each question along with answer choices is viewable in conjunction with the text
you can't view all questions at once but you can view the text in its entirety alone
the computer doesn't lag when scrolling or changing questions

Thanks for the reply. On the scroll bar did you have the tiny rectangular thing that can be dragged to scroll faster? I don't know what that rectangular object is called. Usually, there is an arrow at each end of the scroll bar and there is this rectangular thing on the scroll bar. Kaplan doesn't have this rectangular object for its passages but all my browsers & applications have it. I am not sure if I'll have the rectangular thing on the scroll bar.

I dont think its there but i'm not 100% sure (i took it about a year ago)

eeeee I guess it'll take too much time to go from the 1st paragraph to the last paragraph. If it's not there I have to click on the arrows to go up or down one line at a time. That's too much time consuming. 😡

not really you just hold it down and it scrolls pretty damn fast

This is one limitation that's making the mechanistic feature of Kaplan's RCT a step further from simulating closely to the real one. You need not worry about this on the actual test day. But if this is your major concern, you should familiarize yourself with those of Topscore or DAT Achiever. Each of these guides comes with scrolling feature and question format closest to the actual RCT.

Is the reading comprehension of any similarity to Topscore...if so...I'd be very happy 🙂

If that's the case I'd be happy too.
