Is there anyone else who cries at least once a week and nearly dies laughing a million times during these shows? Sometimes Scrubs leaves me laughing and crying at the same time. It is so sureal and so real at the same time.

One question though:
Where are all the hot pharmacists?

not exactly hot but formerly killing people on Desperate Housewives to only be killed off himself. 👎 Bummer.

I like Scrubs a lot. But it doesn't make me cry...I don't know why it would make anyone cry.

I hate Grey's Anatomy with a passion though. 😡

It was pretty sad two weeks ago when Dr. Cox lost his transplant patients.

I don't watch Grey's Anatomy.

It was really out of his character though how he handled that whole situation I thought (especially the coming to work drunk part). I didn't like that episode.

They should have a spinoff show with The Todd

Why are you watching television? You should be preparing for school. Unplug the tube and start reviewing.

Nooooo.......must take in mindless television before I go.....

Anyways, I am a big fan of Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives even though everything is so far-fetched and ubelievable. I wish they didn't kill off the pharmacist in Desperate Housewives nor portrayed him as some weirdo. (BTW-That guy was the understudy of Matthew Broderick in The Producers-NY...paid $$$ to see half of the stars... 😡 )

Just kidding anyway. I think it would be wise to unwind as much as possible before school because we all know what lies ahead. Anyway, I'm a "House, M.D." fan myself.

It must be my background (dad is a cop, Im trained in forensic science) but Im not interested at all in medical shows unless they are the real life operation shows or medical mysteries. Ive watched a few and ER seems melodramatic, Grays seems whiney, House seems unrealistically a$$y.

Im more of a crime show girl, Law and Order, CSI, Without a Trace, Numbers... The closest I get to medicine is Crossing Jordan.

OK, I take that back. I did watch one medical show and really liked it. It was called Chicago Hope, I liked it so of course they cancelled it, and Scrubs is OK if nothing else is on.

Grey's anatomy has got me hooked so that I borrowed the entire first season on disc and watched it all again. I feel cheated that there is no pharmacist, who is cool and sexy like me, on the show.

Does anyone know of a hospital that doesnt have the pharmacy in the basement?

How did they kill him off? Last time I watched he passed the lie detector thing. That was a while ago though.

The police raided his home and found out he killed Bree's husband, so he overdosed on prescription drugs and alcohol (while Bree watched).

I was kinda glad he died, he creeped me out! I haven't been watching DH regularly this season. I feel like it's going through the sophomore slump. It doesn't excite me as much anymore.

Now I've started on Grey's Anatomy. I am excited about the finale too but I agree that both shows are incredibly unrealistic! I'd never want to be a patient at SGH!

I'm a House MD fan. I admit that the guy is way out there. He pops pills while he's working near a patient, on one episode he was in the bathroom or steamroom hallucinating from a drug of some sort. Not to mention that he is beyond smart a*s and it wouldn't work out in reality.

I tried to watch ER but I wasn't as interested. I guess that House just catches me by the oddness, and therefore, the suspense. Either that, or it's real drama such as Untold Stories of the ER. Unfortunetly, there are so many reruns of that.

Ahh, Grey's Anatomy. They probably shouldn't have named the show after Grey... the biggest hoe on the show. 😉

I want to see more episodes of Family Guy with the pharmacist. Too bad he's the show's nerd but at least he's not a murderer.

I completely forgot about him! Family Guy is also great. Right now I am a tv junkie (damn DVR) and I need to slowly wean myself over the summer. I had to give up the 3 am forensics shows because they were giving me horrible nightmares. Those nightmares have now been replaced with pharm school worries 😴 😱 .

I love Grey's too - we tape it all on DVR so I can watch it when my little ones aren't around - all the way to 11 pm is past my bedtime  The thing that really bothers me about the show is that all the doctors and interns get up in the morning and go to work, then they go home at what appears to be a reasonable hour at night. So, what's up with that - don't real doctors in hospitals work more than 8-5?? And, don't they seem to spend a lot of time just wandering around the hospital and not exactly doing anything??

Haha, yes, they do seem to spend a lot of time not doing anything, or shall we say, hanging around in certain patients' rooms when they have other patients to tend to? Yeah, none of that would fly in real life but I guess that's why it's so enjoyable to watch. 😀

Mine...

Actually, we have *a* pharmacy in the basement, one on the 2nd floor, one on the 6th floor, and one on the 15th floor.

And they're all set up differently, just to drive us insane.

Grey's Anatomy is the best show on TV right now.

Biggest tearjerker episode: When the guy and girl were stuck together on the pole.

That one just about killed me. 🙁

For those who watched: The Scrubs where JD and Cox's older lady patient was better and then got re-infected and died was so sad. I like that it is a sitcom where things don't always get perfect by the end. It may be medically unrealistic but it shows how life and illness can be tough but that there is still humor and happiness out there.

The pharmacy I work in is on the second floor. It is the only pharmacy in the hospital (small, specialty hospital).

I agree that Bart (or whatever the character's name was...oh so long ago) was a creepy person. But it would have been more interesting to see the marriage go through between him and Bree.

I love Grey's Anatomy! Got my boyfriend hooked on it since it started. However, my boyfriend points out that there are some inaccuracies....he's a medical student...whatever.

Why won't ER go away? It's not as exciting as before.

Don't forget that Desperate Housewives had a pharmacist as a main character for a while. Not the best image but it was an image.

I only remember one pharmacist...the one who killed Bree's husband (and other people as well). Anyone else did I miss????

I'm a Grey's Anatomy and ER rerun fan. Some day, when I'm livin' the high life and I actually have some sort of dish T.V., I know I will be addicted to Discovery Health Channel. I love their reality shows that showcase the really big boo-boos.

Chris

Desperate Housewives is so twisted, how could you not love it?

I think they should bring in a hot pharmacist onto Grey's just to even out our reputation damage after George on DH, though. 😉

And House and Scrubs are great too. Kinda sucks that they're on the same time slot though...

Anybody hear start watching that new show "What About Bryan"? Kinda interesting how it has that same sexual tension that you find on Grey's...

I watch too much TV...

Scrubs is the best show running but i still like the reruns of M*A*S*H (Haweye is a more fascinating character than JD or House), whats better than a medical or war series- a combo of the two.

I have to agree M*A*S*H was a great old show. The medics in any war show/movie always break my heart. What a job! I can't even imagine. People actually are going/went through that!

As for my old show favorite:
I can share this because we have secret identities here  :
I love me some Murder, She Wrote! I actually have books 😎 and I am dying to fing the ring tone - doodledoodle doomp doomp doom. Damn Verizon 😡 !

Another big Grey's Anatomy fan here! I can't wait for tonight and tomorrow night to see what they have in store for us with the finale.

My wife and I have recently discovered Grey's Anatomy. We've been huge House MD fans, I'm really surprised at the lack of enthusiasm for that show since it sincerely brings me true joy. Perhaps it's a male vs. female audience... thing.. I just can't imagine people with our interests not preferring to watch a group of highly educated people solving medical puzzles than a drama packed he-said she-said...

Anyway, I really do enjoy Grey's Anatomy, sort of reminds me of Ally McBeal but without Cage... I haven't really found my character yet as a guy but it offers enough for my gender to be anticipated. I downloaded both seasons and we've been doing about 3 episodes a night... I'm REALLY glad Izzy and what's his names date bombed... that's about where we are. I'm probably biased because I was Mr. Nice Guy in high school and never got "any" til I was about 17.. and then so thankful I married her lol... so anyway, it burns a guy like me up to think that it's somehow more attractive to be an ass that is ABLE to be nice at times verses someone who is just genuinely like that. It's sort of a hypocritical stance at this point since I killed Mr. Nice Guy somewhere before my mid-twenties. I suppose his chiseled features and the illusion of being prison-bound at all times holds it's own with women who enjoy a good decadent toss without consequences... sort of anti-evolution though considering attraction is generally predicated on features that tend to imply the best chances of success for your progeny. Seeing as how he's a doctor and all I guess cancels my right to assume he actually is as dumb and irresponsible as his brooklyn accent and lack of articulation tries to exude. It was pretty obvious they were headed that way when she started getting mad that he was an ass in front of other people, it showed she was concerned about the fall-out and future reputation of her future intentions.

I'm definitely interested in trying out Scrubs since everyone here seems to like it, plus I see there's about 5 seasons to keep me entertained over the summer. I was going to do the Soprano's which I've never seen but maybe this will be better.

Just saw the first part of the season finale for Grey's Anatomy. What the hell was Izzie thinking?! I can't believe she would lie just so Denny could get his heart earlier. And right after she told Bailey that she was going to be professional from now on! I actually liked Denny before but he's just as bad as she is now since he agreed to let her stop his heart (or whatever she's planning on doing).

Can't wait to see this episode! I am on the west coast...

I watch House when it doesn't conflict with Scrubs. I'll get caught up on episodes after Scrubs is over for the season. It is becoming too predictable, though.

I haven't watched the 3hr finale yet....But I hear that ABC is moving the show to Thursday nights to compete with CSI and some new NBC show. WHY?????????? It fits perfectly on my Sunday nights ( I don't watch football and whatever stuff they put on other networks)!

Sorry to lament while we are taking our finals (or at least I am), but I am bummed! I'll be definitely missing them while in school!

Okay. Back to studying.

Well I got season 1 of scrubs now. I can't even believe you all are putting scrubs and grey's anatomy in the same thread. They're not even close.

Scrubs is "malcolm in the middle" meets "family guy" complete with ludicrous flashbacks... the fact that it all happens in a hospital is completely irrelevant... they could do the same show as roofers or something.

Anyway, it's entertaining but not hardly related to grey's anatomy, ER, or House.

Hey all the REAL hot pharmacists are class of 2009 / 2010 when WE all graduate. ow ow!!!!

Amen! The season finale previews look just way beyond the call of duty for an awesome finale!

I'm not gay...seriously... but if I were, House would be the guy
