Scrubs

Quality does matter. There are some that are what a hospital would stock that are almost disposable. Really thin crappy fabric, no or few pockets. You want comfortable ones that will last for a long time. A lot of people like Cherokee. There are many popular brands to choose from that would work fine.

Grey's Anatomy by Barco is also a good brand. I have a few sets for the nicer occasions. They feel like pajamas lol. And get some cheap sets too because gross anatomy dissection (if your school does cadavers) will leave some stains and smells that you will not want to keep around haha. Another reason to get some cheap scrubs is because some dental materials stick and just never come off, if it happens to my $70 set of scrubs, I'd be pissed lol.

Go to the store and find what you like, then find them on line. For me the fabric was very important

dang, i thought this would be about the TV show. I didn't really know which brands were good or bad so i asked around a bit. I ended up ordering a mix of different companies including greys anatomy, iguana, and cherokee.

I use Uniform Advantage. They're awesome, super comfy and good quality. Also, they're talls are actually tall (which isn't the case for some other brands)

Plenty of good choices. I chose Cherokee for good fit, comfort and pockets. Others may look cooler, but these had a good combination of qualities and looks for the price. You'll use then after you graduate too, so pick 5 sets you like.

PVS will ruin any set. So but at least 3 sets.

Leave one set ( in fact a head to toe change is helpful) at school in case you get thrown up on.

I'll give a shout-out to Landau. Pretty comfortable and durable scrubs.

Dickies

No comparison
Soft 35 65 blend

Cool inside butt pocket
Good price
Almost any color you want.

S.C.R.U.B.S. has been my go to brand for a decade plus (www.smartscrubs.com) - the fabric IMHO tends to be softer and more comfortable than other brands fabrics, and just gets better as you wash them with some fabric softener. Plus they have a nice assortment of colors and also prints (solid pants and print tops are my preferred office attire)

The only thing I don't like about them (and I have mentioned this to them in many customer evaluation forms) is that the cord they use for their drawstrings, which to my best guess is all cotton/natural fiber, tends to fray after a while, so I've learned to just remove the drawstring myself and replace it with some nylon based cord and have solved that problem quite easily
