I'm entering d-school in the fall and am curious about the colors of scrubs you can wear. I'd like to get a few variations, nothing too crazy, but when I went for my interview nearly everyone was in the typical seafoam green scrubs.

So, do some schools require you to wear certain colors or does it not matter?

It may be school or even class-specific. At my school there is a prescribed color for students and another color for auxiliary staff.

some color code by class, some color code staff/students, and some just let you wear whatever as long as its not printed.

Yeah. I know our class color is Burgundy. It seems like a weird color to pick, but I don't care what color scrubs I have to wear. I'm just happy to be in dental school.

If you can where whatever color you want, I've always really liked the dental green (light seaweed like color). Navy and royal blue always work well, too.

Don't buy any... BU will give you your scrubs. You'll vote on the color for your class.

Dark colored scrub pants! 😱 If you wear powdered gloves, or are adjusting a denture, or doing some endo, almost a guarentee that by the end of the day, those darker colored pants will have many smudges of glove powder dust, acrylic "dust" or "hypochlorite splatter" 😱🙄

Overall all though, if you have a choice, I can tell you that the higher the cotton content in the fabric, the more comfortable you'll be (especially after a couple of times through the wash with some fabric softener!)😀
