i genuinely feel bad that rae is feeling this frustrated bc this happens to me every.single.game. it’s not a good feeling at all and you’re left stewing. it’s freaking roughPeople getting frustrated is understandable but it also makes it feel like we're not allowed to question you when there are legit gaps in our understanding of your logic.
OK I peeped back at rae's read lists real fast and it looks like first two day cycles Spurs was a strong village read and last day cycle they were roughly in the middle.did their read on spurs change or has it stayed pretty consistent all game?
hmm…OK I peeped back at rae's read lists real fast and it looks like first two day cycles Spurs was a strong village read and last day cycle they were roughly in the middle.
because that draws alottttt of attention to their opponents and people who voted against them, which would have been a quick game and a wolf lossJust a general question, but if Beans was a V mayor, why didn't the W go after her for their 1st kill? Sounds like the perfect chance to stir up chaos by getting rid of the mayor and potentially being able to get a W into the mayor role.
also- i dont know if there’s ever been re-election for a mayor in a game?? atleast the one i played once we died, we diedJust a general question, but if Beans was a V mayor, why didn't the W go after her for their 1st kill? yeah, but i’ve only played one mayor game. but on Town of Salem, once mayor died, they died. there was no reassigning the roleI'm also not sure if the mayor gets replaced after they die.
i’m in this boat too. i need more but they’ve been busy with orientation (which i’m sure was 10x more intense than mine on friday and i considered friday to be ROUGHHHH)i will say i dont really have non-mechanical reasons to village read nicole
We barely have anything on Nicole except her accusation Apop couldn't heal.i will say i dont really have non-mechanical reasons to village read nicole
So should we look at beans' opponents? I feel like going back to D1 might mislead us due to it being a noob game.because that draws alottttt of attention to their opponents and people who voted against them, which would have been a quick game and a wolf loss
Can you list them? Or quote them if you have already (sorry if you have!)i will say i dont really have non-mechanical reasons to village read nicole
You guys are reading way to into this. Yes I’m frustrated no one is listening to me and yes I’m pushing at fruit, but I’m walking away because I get to see my spouse about 5 hours max per day and we didn’t really have a day off together during the work week and won’t during the school year either.Yeah for sure. I feel like I'm walking on eggshells
i think D1 is a good start, but should not be the end-all-be-all and ultimate deciding factor. HOWEVER! its important to note that if they have good manators, wolves could have split their vote to throw us off. so D1 should be taken with a grain of salt, but you’d be surprised at what you could findSo should we look at beans' opponents? I feel like going back to D1 might mislead us due to it being a noob game.
I know fruit is V because of my ability. That's my point. I know that doesn't help you decide if fruit is V or W but that's why I'm so confident.I’m asking you to question stuff but you’re all just “well so and so’s ability said” when we have dead villagers who have shown that ability alone is not an affiliation.
just making a general note here that you absolutely do not have to defend your quality time spent with your spouse !! whatever the reason you have to step away, is valid regardless if other agree or notYou guys are reading way to into this. I’m not mad. I’m sorry if I was intense but that is the nature of the game. Is to push and push hard.
I also want to ask you if you’re all reading me so Wolfy, why am I here? Why am I skating by with just a vote or two on my name each night. Why AREN’T people voting for me if I’m so sus.
We don't think fruit is village soley bc of their ability. I don't care that you're stepping away, it was just the emotion you stepped away with leaving us feeling like we aren't allowed to question you.You guys are reading way to into this. sorry i meant i don’t have any reasons that arent mechanics to village read nicoleCan you list them? Or quote them if you have already (sorry if you have!)
Then say that. Give me something other than “my ability or their ability says so and so is village” because that’s not enough on D5. We’re deep enough into the game with enough of village dead that actions should be just as easily proven. We don't think fruit is village soley bc of their ability.
can you then explain why you’re village reading spurs? Then say that. Give me something other than “my ability or their ability says so and so is village” because that’s not enough on D5. We’re deep enough into the game with enough of village dead that actions should be just as easily proven.
Its not enough two people have evidence spurs is most likely V based on our abilities, but we have no evidence you're V (in fact, the read block being a negative) and we're supposed to blanket trust you. How does that make sense? Then say that. Give me something other than “my ability or their ability says so and so is village” because that’s not enough on D5. We’re deep enough into the game with enough of village dead that actions should be just as easily proven.
I'm in the same boat as you. If he isn't then I'd be the world's biggest idiot, but I already feel like the world's biggest idiot so not much would change lol. This is just a game to me so really if I am big dumb dumb, my real life won't change lol. I have no reason to think fruit is W based on the information I have, so the risk feels really small hereYou are super tunneled on fruit rn. I am 99% sure fruit is village. If they are not I am a giant idiot and will eat my own pants.
Spurs is a sus-leaning read for me because of the band wagoning, waiting to vote, and repeatedly going based off of "gut feelings." I know he said his reasons for waiting to vote and seeming to bandwagon is because he is busy, and I'm not doubting that he's busy, but it's also a good excuse for wolfy behavior.@GoSpursGo Buddy, I need more from you.
Not moving off of Apoptosis bothers me. Not bringing in new angles / info bothers me. Ik you are very busy w your family, but with the limited info I have from you along with everyone just randomly village reading you based on vibes.....
Finally made it home. Trying to catch up.@GoSpursGo Buddy, I need more from you.

Also pointing out again Beans said the mayor power would be announced by mods when used and it wasn't.We're taking @beans2020 at their word that the night block was their role ability and yeet protection was their mayor ability. I think it's worth considering that it's vice versa.
I could see a mayor gaining the ability to block one night, and I could see a wolf having an ability for 1x yeet save. Even if the abilities are for the reasons they say, I see the events leading up to Bean's yeet vote and apop's death as super sus. There was no village reason to not reveal the yeet ability until that late in the vote.
Beans keeps asking about my role but I've revealed a few details already, I don't think I need to share more. It's all in my post history from the last day vote. It's interesting, too, that Beans is the only one asking for more details.
False @beans2020I don't believe I ever said the mods would announce when the mayor perk was used. I just said that we would all know when it was used.
I verified with the mods that it will be publicly announced once I have. Because mayor is a more public role was what they told me.

Not yet. You'll know once I have.

Ope. I totally missed that earlier. This changes thingsFalse @beans2020
It is a definitive point that has me considering @vampyrica could be scum. She's on my short list.what do you make of vampy being blocked on a no kill night (N3)?
Yes, this is an accurate interpretation of how I view @beans2020 . Also on the short list.so you agree beans looked sus for non-mechanical reasons (i.e. her behavior near end of day, inconsistencies etc.), but she remains mid (so virtually unchanged from your previous read before beans end of day behavior) because of mechanical reasons (night canceling = villagey)?
I would say it's sort of gradations on a play style. I pick up on a couple of inconsistencies and I try to push on them, and eventually I decide which player I'm most concerned about being W. @_rae_ picks a player... and then re-reads every post and takes every detail and reads it through a lens that supports her underlying thesis. Which could be the sign of a very invested player, or it could be a sign of a player who is very invested in convincing the group based on circumstantial evidence to vote with her.could you tell me how this differs from your approach? see your push toward apop for instance
I think this is a very valid read of me@GoSpursGo
spurs is interesting. Just present enough and just problem solving enough to lean village, but also just absent enough and just willing enough to go along with folks that I have some squints. Questioning fruit and questioning me and vampy gives him a village lean to me.
I also want to bring up something in my way of approaching votes that seems to be different from how some of you are approaching votes. I'm less approaching the game as answering "who seems to be working with who and what does that say about who the scum are" and more seeing each individual vote as its own entity where the question is "which one player do I feel has the highest probability of being scum?" I feel like trying to connect players (either as allies or enemies) is very potentially driven by narrative, and who said what closest to the deadline, and can de-emphasize points made earlier in the day. So when I vote for a given player, such as apoptosis, it is not an implicit defense of beans or rae or vampy. It just means, at that moment, I think that apoptosis is the most likely person to flip W. Those players are all people that I'm keeping an eye on, but if I feel most strongly about a single player and there isn't some new bombshell or overwhelming evidence that comes up to shift my opinion, I'll probably stick it out. If you look back at my other votes, I generally did not go along with the bandwagons based on this principle.@GoSpursGo Buddy, I need more from you.
