Fair enough, anything is possible. But just trying to think that, if such a role did exist for W, would they use it now? Maybe. If I was W, Im not sure I would, but I suppose someone else might decide it’s worth the risk. Need to think it through some more and also see what @beans2020 says the rest of the day.

So I’m a player who gives zero craps about village consensus and if I have a gut feeling I go for it. Which is a convenient excuse for scum but also, I yam who I yam yknow?

I still stand by that one of my biggest pieces of evidence that vampy is not village aligned is that she says she’s blocked N3 and that HAPPENS to be the night no one dies.

Oh and I read this too, I’m just not going to come to any further major conclusions at 3:39.

Also, this doesn’t totally jive with me. We have basically decided fruits is 100% village because of their ability to look at player affiliations, and mechanically that does make sense to belong to a villager (and yes there are other pieces of supporting information that corroborate that, this is not me trying to flip flop on fruits again). I guess anything is possible, but the idea of a wolf having an ability that nullifies their own biggest advantage in the game of doing a night kill is weird (yes it also interferes with other night abilities, but it feels like for the most part people could just repeat those actions on the next night cycle). So it shouldn’t be the sole reason to accept beans as town, but it should be part of the equation. Not closing the book on beans but it’s making me have real second thoughts when I was coming into the day fully expecting we were going to bandwagon her out, and I’ll be watching her answers closely today.

And not that I’m making any decisions, but overall I just see you as going hard on certain players and making pieces of information fit your reads on them. Maybe that’s going with your gut, or… maybe it’s scummy. Aren’t we all trying to get past “going with our gut” as a reason for voting players out?

Again, I’ll need to think things through a little more. It would be nice for me to be able to shut my brain off this game when I’m supposed to be sleeping 😴

Beans using their ability has gotten some of us to back off from her for now, so I wouldn't say it was a complete waste of her ability if she is W. If she hadn't used it, she would have almost been certainly yeeted in D5. Then again, I am still curious about her other mayor perks and why she hasn't used them yet. She did say if she used her perks, the mods would announce it in the thread, so I understand the secrecy, for now.

I’m gonna have to agree with this - a role doesn’t give someone a free V pass at this point.

A healer is traditionally (village?) but for all we know there could be a wolf healer to counter Apop’s poison.

To address Spurs question - there are other strong factors that tell us fruit is village beyond mechanics.

Gut instinct: beans vs rae?

Obviously I think we are still starting the day on this binary. But where do you stand on everyone else? Looking back, I think a big part of how we landed on those two was their inactivity at the deadline Friday. There were even multiple posts saying it was tough since they were both inactive. So it’s fair to start there, but we also need to expand our worldview.

I will try to take a closer look at folks like ceegee, spiane, Nicole later today.

(And you. I do feel like we have operated on the assumption you’re village for the last 2ish days and I can’t remember a specific smoking gun proving it. Out of everyone you have read super village, and that’s still my overwhelming impression, but let me just retrace my steps.)

I sort of feel like the W’s would just take their kill, give her up as a sacrifice while fully supporting it, and blending right back in.

The Ws are ahead so I feel like missing last night's kill is no big deal. Blocking V actions might serve them more to avoid getting caught. We have lost all V (aside from genny) so far, and if beans is a wolf then why would she sacrifice herself to get another kill while they are ahead?

I feel Rae’s deep dive on vampy rubbed me as scum trying to frame specifically trying to frame another player to try and show they’re trying really hard to help the village.

I'm also thinking this too. Rae was getting heat for being blocked by fruit and T4C, and when T4C flipped V and fruit RR the big deep dive came up. It lines up... I also don't like the reasoning of "gut feelings" because it makes me feel like they aren't trying to analyze and find who is the wolf but instead voting on a "gut feeling" tells me they are likely voting for villagers.

I'm not really ready to yeet Beans rn, but they have to admit their behavior and actions have been extremely suspicious. If they are a W, they are doing a damn good job at trying to offload this suspicion and placate. Beans has yet to formally go after someone strongly - the CG vote isn't enough for me, in fact it makes me even more suspicious given their lack of strong reasoning.

I still can't ignore to possibility they are V with some unfortunate events going down due to their position as mayor and busy life.

Um...hi guys. I just got back and got caught up with the thread. I think I can explain what happened.
Part of my perks of being mayor is that if the other players try to misyeet me, I will automatically be saved once and the player with the next highest number of votes is eliminated instead. Unfortunately I didn't see that I was the leading vote or I would have warned you before EOD. What's done is done I guess. It shouldn't happen again because it's a 1x thing.
That being said...apoptosis was BOTH the poisoner AND the healer?! How is it that the crazy stuff gets dropped right before EOD?

Yes. I haven't shared what exactly they are because I didn't want to make myself an even bigger target.

Beans - Was sure Apop poisoned them, then sure Apop healed them. Then was convinced CG poisoned them - why??? Lone CG vote avoids bandwagoning and scrutiny. Lots of flip flopping. Lots of cagey / secretive behavior and convenient excuses.
Spurs - Jumps on Apop bandwagon and refuses to get off even with the massive evidence Apop was V towards the end. At this point I have no strong evidence they are V.
Rae - Lone Vamps vote. I could see this as a villager who isn't afraid to go against the grain, as it did indeed evoke drama though. We still don't have a real explanation to why T4C and fruit cannot read them at all. If Rae is V then that leaves a high probability Vamps is not (EDIT: According to Spurs).

Have me looking at them sideways.

I remember actively questioning sakura/animal midwife about an item and ability they had AND questioning zenge about a lie detector. I ended up winning the game for village. This is part of my play style.

rae/beans/??? - this is not a pairing in my opinion. unless they’re doing some sort of mega reverse psychology here, there’s too much back and forth and pressure put on beans from rae, which would be borderline busing.

beans/rae/spurs - if there is a 3 wolf team as opposed to a 2 wolf team, i don’t really see this as our wolf team. there’s a lot of discrepancies between play, activity and seems uncoordinated and the least likely wolf team
