cancer = bad but also misunderstood how it works

YOU GOT THIS
Getting into the molecular bio of cancer is real crazy stuff. I actually really enjoy onco (thankfully because half of med cases end up being cancer) but studying it so much has been giving me actual nightmares.

My classmates young dog just died of hemangiosarc unexpectedly and I keep having recurring dreams my older dog is gonna have a hemoab.

i’m so sorry :c hopefully you can relax and turn off your brain a little after the exam is over. nothing a sweet treat cant fix!

I'm gonna put it out there -

Beans - Was sure Apop poisoned them, then sure Apop healed them. Then was convinced CG poisoned them - why??? Lone CG vote avoids bandwagoning and scrutiny. Lots of flip flopping. Lots of cagey / secretive behavior and convenient excuses.
Spurs - Jumps on Apop bandwagon and refuses to get off even with the massive evidence Apop was V towards the end. At this point I have no strong evidence they are V.
Rae - Lone Vamps vote. I could see this as a villager who isn't afraid to go against the grain, as it did indeed evoke drama though. We still don't have a real explanation to why T4C and fruit cannot read them at all. If Rae is V then that leaves a high probability Vamps is not.

Have me looking at them sideways.

But also questions for:
Vamps I am inclined to believe is V - but I don't have strong evidence that is the case. I could very well be wrong. The 3p reasoning makes sense but doesn't clear her completely in my mind rn. I need to hear your thoughts on beans, rae, and spurs.
CG is either n!V or n!W... This is why I want their opinion on Beans going after them.
This is basically where I'm at right now

rae/beans/??? - this is not a pairing in my opinion. unless they’re doing some sort of mega reverse psychology here, there’s too much back and forth and pressure put on beans from rae, which would be borderline busing.
well, rae suspected beans was going down and tried to campaign for mayor

As I previously explained, I do think one of @_rae_ or @vampyrica is scum. I feel Rae’s deep dive on vampy rubbed me as scum trying to frame specifically trying to frame another player to try and show they’re trying really hard to help the village.
what do you make of vampy being blocked on a no kill night (N3)?

@beans2020 looked real sus to me towards the end of the last cycle. I agree, there were real inconsistencies in her story. That said, I have a hard time squaring a W with a night canceling ability. It seems almost exclusivity village aligned, and even if one could exist as a W… to use it at this point? When beans is already on the outs? I sort of feel like the W’s would just take their kill, give her up as a sacrifice while fully supporting it, and blending right back in. I guess, unless beans is a lone wolf? Is that a thing in these games? My head hurts. Anyways, without exhaustively reviewing beans’s posts I loosely get the sense that she was cagey at the end of the last day because she was busy and didn’t want to reveal her mayor and player powers, and she came off as sus. I have her squarely mid
so you agree beans looked sus for non-mechanical reasons (i.e. her behavior near end of day, inconsistencies etc.), but she remains mid (so virtually unchanged from your previous read before beans end of day behavior) because of mechanical reasons (night canceling = villagey)?

And not that I’m making any decisions, but overall I just see you as going hard on certain players and making pieces of information fit your reads on them. Maybe that’s going with your gut, or… maybe it’s scummy. Aren’t we all trying to get past ā€œgoing with our gutā€ as a reason for voting players out?
could you tell me how this differs from your approach? see your push toward apop for instance

It’s enough to keep up with all of fruit’s waffles.

So no, you all will have to keep your own pie tally.

Like, I have a job. I’m not just a vote tally bot….
Retweet. You can't both have all the pies you want to throw and expect us to tally them for you šŸ˜›

@spiane how are you reading vampy?
Vampy can go either way for me. She is self-proclaimed 3P which doesn't necessarily mean that the village is in her favor, but she could also be telling the truth about that. Idk. Rae being suspicious of her might be a cover up and an attempt to push the blame onto another player. She's been very helpful but also has a vigilante role and idk how it works so I can't say much about that. Not sure if she can shoot villagers or just wolves or anyone. It is odd that no one died the night she was blocked, but there could have very well been a wolf kill that night that got blocked too. There isn't much concrete evidence we can go off of except the fact that someone was supposed to die and didn't. Correlation doesn't equal causation, but we also can't write it off as impossible.

I explained this before, but fruits and I came to the same conclusion about apoptosis at the same time—to the point I interrupted my in progress post to stake a claim on apoptosis to try as best as possible to not look like I was bandwagoning.

I was legitimately busy Friday night, and despite my best attempts I was not able to catch up or process the new information that came out. The outcome seemed clear for beans’s by the time I was having a chance to catch up at almost 9p, so 1) I didn’t feel any urgency to change; and 2) I thought it would actually look more sus if I came in at the last minute and flipped without any time to explain why

I said coming into the game I was going to have periods of inactivity, and I’ve honestly already been more active than I’d intended (WW is a hell of a drug, you guys šŸ˜…). It can lead to me taking some time to get caught up, and Friday it just wasn’t possible to get caught up. I try to balance it out by trying to give some thoughtful input when I have time, though admittedly I didn’t land on the right answer friday. If y’all are really gonna vote me out because I can’t respond in real time, then I guess at some point that’s very likely to happen. I would hope y’all can tell I’m trying when I can, and my analysis and questions are trying to be genuine.
i don’t understand this, could you clarify what you mean?
It was explained to me that flip just means that if when someone dies and their affiliation and role is revealed. So if apoptosis had flipped wolf, I would have been looking squarely at Rae and vampy today. Clearly since he apop was V and beans is still here, I have to think hard about beans too. And i would really like to think about other players too.

On the road now but I’m playing milkshake passer among the family. It looks like I have two more quotes to catch up on from fruits. Will try to catch up this afternoon

Okay be gentle with me because migraine brain is real and tends to hang out for a bit. This is all general vibes (with supporting nonspecific evidence) because combing through every single one of the 60 pages we've made is just.... daunting. I've stated before and I'll state one last time that something is going horribly wrong here, and I think some of it requires us to break up our village reads piece by piece and stop using actions/affiliations as roles. I've added red stars to those I'm currently most suspicious of. I'm also trying to use spoilers just to shorten the overall appearance of my post because I am a TYPER.

Let's start with: I know I'm village. Why am I alive? I end up making myself an easy target by going after something I feel is a solid read regardless of the village opinion around me. It inherently makes me very easy to misyeet, making me valuable to the wolves, and has been a detriment to me more this game than my last game. I think I'm still here because N3 and N4 have been non-kill nights, and because going after me is too obvious, getting town to VOTE me is a better choice.

My summary of misyeet and village kills and what I think happened:
SK was a misyeet that was doomed to happen due to inactivity; I don't think any amount of reading or participation by others would have changed that D2 village loss. Indy was a decisive choice and an interesting first night kill. Indy was one of the first to raise the alarm that a wolf mayor might be in our midst, and that was in fact a pretty hard push consistent throughout most of the day. Getting Indy out of the way early on, when reads feel shakier, takes suspicion off a potential wolf in a powerful position. And then we lost T4C, a mix of telling us the wrong information at the wrong time, and again, an easy one for the wolves to latch onto. I stand by that me, spurs, and Katie being off the T4C vote gives us all a stronger village lean; and fruit was again on my ass that night because of this blocking crap. Of those still alive, vampy, spiane, Nicole, pbc, beans, and cg were all in that vote. N3, vampy was blocked and no one died. Then we misyeeted apoptosis, which I think was unfortunately just a symptom of apop being a noob, who had a strong power and a really well thought out strategy, but not the forum gameplay experience to back it up. They got caught in their own attempt to be coy and the beans vote override really effed us over. With the exception of sk, our misyeets have been due to confusion surroundings actions and affiliations, which is why I think taking emphasis off that will help to clear things up.

*@beans2020
I struggle a lot with beans. She seems to be getting pretty frustrated with being questioned at this point in the game, especially regarding role questions she's had. I can see it being cornered wolf, I can also see it being noob coming off of recent win where the game dynamics are just different. Ignoring actions, ignoring roles, focusing solely on behavior, Beans has been a difficult player to rely on, both as mayor and as a general wolf hunter.

@katiemcat
has been pretty solidly village read for most of the time. Good at asking questions, good at pushing buttons, and overall seems to be solving the problem. However I feel like her questions often circle back to the same people with the same content in a way that feels like she's creating a distraction cycle.

@GoSpursGo
spurs is interesting. Just present enough and just problem solving enough to lean village, but also just absent enough and just willing enough to go along with folks that I have some squints. Questioning fruit and questioning me and vampy gives him a village lean to me.

@CeeGee14
CG is hard for me. She has like 3.5 pages in their post history of this game, and compared to some other players that's a drop in the bucket. I see overhwelmed noob. She voted me day one completely randomly, was quiet until pushed but started participating as soon as she realized the expectations. CG was also on the beans is sus bandwagon pretty early on. Most of their thoughts and questions have felt organic to me, not informed.

*@fruitsalad
has gotten themself read pretty solidly as village, putting them in a strong position, despite being the waffliest waffler to ever waffle. Literally just trying to go back and look at fruit's voting patterns has my head spinning because there is no pattern. They have also maintained a wolf read on me since D2. Primarily by latching onto jokey messages (or what I thought came across as jokey messages) to push against me. They keep saying my push on vampy is wolfy, which I can see how that looks, but the level of focus on me the past few days from them has felt like they're trying to push an easy misyeet. Of the town reads, I have the least confidence in fruit right now. Which again, I see the convenience of fruit pushes me, I push back. But that was really something I pushed. I went after them hard and fast for that damn purple post restriction because they would not explain further, and that's when they really flipped to pushing hard on me each day, but never seeming to land on a vote for me. I think there's a possibility I got a bit too close and fruit is hanging on to any potential slip up, any potential non-village hint to point towards me in hopes of keeping pressure off themself.

@spiane
I'm struggling because I WANT spiane to be a wolf, it fits the little world building I've been creating in my head this whole time, but I don't think she is. Her voting seems logical, her pokes at others feel like they have basis in real questions, and most importantly, she has contradicted herself and misremembered things in a way that feels like a villager in a 60 page thread would and not like a wolf caught in a lie. I think spiane is in my town.

*@nicoledoesvetstuff
Assuming fruit is telling the truth (which is a lot of assuming), spiane and Nicole have the same affiliation. If this is the case I have to assume based on my read on spiane that Nicole is also village, but she is the one I am most uncertain on. Less than a page of posts, an immediate vote for beans as mayor, and came in at the last second to cast doubt on apop for the misyeet. Something feels fishy here but I can't find the thing that helps to prove it.

*@vampyrica
A blue star because I'm slightly more inclined to believe the 3p track at the moment. I don't have much new to say on vampy. The no kills N3 is damning to me but people aren't hearing it (and with my opinion on fruit, I wonder if there is the slight possibility that her block and the no-kill were coincidental. I would normally say it's highly unlikely but in a game so full of actions, who the hell knows). 3p or wolf, she's not village and I think has the ability to not be village aligned. Whether that's an immediate threat or something we keep in our back pocket and go harder at a potential wolf is up for debate. I'm not going to be a lone vote on vampy today because it's getting us nowhere.

@PrincessButterCup
PBCs train of thought has seemed easy, individual, and organic this whole game. My only sore spot here is when fruit put PBC/Vampy together and I couldn't shake that something about the two of them switching so quickly onto and off from one another was an odd interaction. MID TYPING THIS LAST BIT I THOUGHT I JUST LOST THIS WHOLE POST AND WAS GOING TO CRY. Anyway, pbc. Overall I have no wolf tingles based on voting pattern and posts.

Phew. Let me know what questions this brings up, because I'm sure it will.

I will say, if we misyeet rae and vampy turns out to be W or 3p antagonist or mal-aligned whatever the term is, then well...

We could still vote for her but someone would die unless there is a night action that can prevent it. Misyeeting rae also doesn't necessarily confirm that her suspicions about vampy are correct because she could still very well be 3P-V aligned. Then we would have misyeeted two more people.

Best case scenario is if rae is yeeted today and flips W, then we finally have a win on our hands and that can help narrow things down. It still wouldn't 100% put vamps in the clear, but it would confirm our suspicions that the deep dive was a cover up.

Omg fruit is was a damned joke based on what vampyrica said
seconding this, rae's response to the whole "misyeet the mayor = killing the runner up" was in response to my comment where i said we should have just let rae take the mayoral spot bc what happened was sus

@_rae_ @vampyrica i’d like to see how you read each other because it’s on my mind that vampy was blocked on a no kill night
i want to give rae the benefit of the doubt because i do legit understand where they are coming from, if i was in their position, i would do the exact same. and i have in previous games! so i appreciate their effort in trying to get the whole truth. rae is iffy for me because i can see it going literally any which way, but i'm willing to work with them to get on the right page and clear eachother so there is no more misinterpretation in the thread that wolves can just hide in the shadows and watch us all scramble like that scene in spongebob:
