Hey all,

I want to do a second look at a program and wanted to know if going the first week of febuary is too late. My current rotation preceptor is giving me a hard time about taking days off for interviews. The earliest I can go is the first week of feb, is it still useful or useless at that point?

Depends on when the program makes up its list. Mostly I think it would be an ideal time, if you believe that program cares about seeing a second look.

We discourage them at my place, unless you really need to see some more of the place for your ROL. We try not to let them affect ours.

Don't have the patience, one hour of listening to the whine and I'd yell out "look this is what's wrong with your thinking: 1, 2, 3,etc and this is what you have to do 1,2,3, etc." Thereby I would not only not help them to any insight, worse I'd only get a single visit fee. 😡

Well maybe a transactional analyst: superficial, accurate, quick all the EM virtues/faults.

You should go for a second visit exactly 3 days before rank order lists are due...and tell everyone, "I'm Rick James bitch!"
