Do second looks help out applicants when the programs are making their rank lists?? I know of one program for sure that did not offer second looks because they felt it was unfair to people who were closer and had more money...I totally agree because one trip is hard enough, I don't know how I would be able to afford time or money for more trips😱

It is 3-4 years of your life. If you realy liked a program and feel that you did not learn enough about it from your first visit, then, by all means, pick up the phone and talk to the residency director and inform him/her of your feelings--they are human beings too, I am sure that they will understand. Good luck with your residency.
