thanks in advance everybody:

1. can I turn in secondaries without having all of my LORs complete, yet??

2. given that all of my letters are of equal strength, is turning in 5 letters better than 3?

Yes you can turn your secondaries in before you have your LORs done.

Next, how do you know all 5 are the same quality?

Some medical schools usually have a due date (e.g. due in two weeks) for their secondaries, right? Does this include LORs? Or are they a little more flexible on the LORs?

From my limited experience, schools are still flexible on the LORs, and encourage you to submit your secondary when it is ready, instead of waiting on them.

Can somebody else back me up on this?

Well what is the two week rule where the secondaries are not sent and are already available??

So as that we are on the secondaries topic...do med schools usually request updated transcripts with the secondaries?
