what's the ol' nailpolish trick?

lol...just a joke that lauren and I have about Dartmouth's secondary application. The paper application comes in a color, so if you type it out, you can't use white out...you'll have to use nail polish. No real trick to it unless you're color blind.

there is no secret password or anything with Rush. Their email just has the website link, and you create your own account with your AMCAS, etc. If I was you I would just see if it will let you do it. I'm sure it will.

Heh thanks, I actually submitted my secondary on July 5th and they have had my letters since the 7th. BUT---they haven't sent me an email verifying they have my AMCAS and my status pages says my letters on not complete even though right below it, it shows both my committee letter and graduate letter. I don't know if its techincal difficulties or not, but nonetheless, I am nervous

I could be wrong, but I don't think you need to worry. All that I've received from wake was an email saying that the will send out secondaries soon. No official invite has been given yet. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

I could be wrong, but I don't think you need to worry. All that I've received from wake was an email saying that the will send out secondaries soon. No official invite has been given yet. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

i was verfied june 30th, received an email last week from wake with a login # and some other numbers and a link. the link let me check my status. it first said something like "we are reviewing your app and will let you know" now it said "we will let you know of your status via email" i have yet to get another email and now the portal is acting up. i think everyone is just at a different stage with it. they may not be sending out links to a lot of people because they have had a lot of trouble with the portal system. good luck

I'm a bit confused as to some of NYMC's instructions.
"All courses offered in satisfaction of the requirements for admission must be taken in or accepted as transfer credits by an accredited college in the United States or Canada and must be acceptable to that institution toward a baccalaureate degree in arts or sciences. This includes Advanced Placement courses taken in high school."
I took my prereqs at a CC after I graduated from a university. Is that going to be OK?

Also, it says the LORs need to be on "official letterhead," but I'm using Interfolio, and I'm pretty sure that they weren't submitted on official letterhead. Anyone else with this problem?

If individual letters are sent, we require one biology, one chemistry and one physics and one humanities. My goodness! If you don't have a pre-med committee, you have to do a LOT of legwork for Jefferson! Geez! This is from their FAQ! I was thinking of adding them, but no thanks. 🙂

As for the interfolio thing, if your professors submitted it to Interfolio on letterhead, and IF copies it or whatever, it is going to be obvious that the original copy was on letterhead. Just like if the pre-med office copies a letter, the copy will just be a copied letter...on letterhead.

ahhaha funny story....i erased the email form NYMC right now( due to their strict requirement of a letter of rec from your major) and once i erase it another secondary popped into my inbox...the one i was waiting for....whta are the odds......
