honestly, this is my favorite and most addictive thread. At a close second is now the interview thread...but I could wait a little longer on that since I haven't come close to finishing or getting all of my secondaries. I can't wait to finally either get a secondary or a rejection notice from UCSF

i guess i'll try asking here. so, i have everything in for the texas schools i'm applying to and TMDSAS sent me a verification that i have everything in. I sent tech's secondary stuff in around july 2nd and they cashed my check on the 13th, but when i go to their "status" page, it says i'm missing all the stuff i mailed, including my fee. 😕 they cashed the check... is it normal to have this much lag time between them having received everything and it saying i'm complete?

I'm having the same situation with Rush Medical College. I think that the staff of the office(s) have to maintain paper files, and then they have to update the online information as well. If they are overwhelmed with the paper files (and have boxes of letters coming in everyday) they might not be updating online as much as they should. Or maybe their IT department sucks. Either way, I am calling if mine doesn't update properly by end of business Tuesday.

thanks jackie!! i'm going to check again tomorrow and then probably call tomorrow before they close because it seems like the general concensus is for me to call them. i just want to get on that texas interview list ASAP! one acceptance from texas means that i can take off all my other schools except california... crossing my fingers for texas.................................. 😴

Hey all. Just wanted to say that when you click on "print preview" on your loyola secondary, you actually have more line space than it seems like when you type into their response boxes. Since the print preview version is the one they will receive, you can base your 25 single spaced lines off of that.
Sorry if that was completely obvious to all of you, but I didn't notice that the first time I looked through it. 😳

You kids make me blush. 😳 Unfortunately, it has also brought some negativity--attacks by trolls, claims that I selfishly bump and promote the threads, and some general malaise....but whatever. I'm kind of a big deal. I can take it. 😉

But there is a (Big, growing!) group of you that I really, really care about and that I want to see through. 😍 Some of the new people that we thought were sketch are turning to be pretty cool, as well. I really appreciate how everyone has been helping me to maintain this thread and the others. It is like a security blanket for us, knowing what is out and what isn't. You guys are simply the best. I would be proud to call (most of you, anyway) my classmate. 👍

Christ I hate that Rush secondary.
I went over it today looking for a number to call re: the jacked up status page.
I find 3 errors I know I corrected but were not saved properly before submission.
I blame them 🙂 Maybe a call tomorrow will fix this ****.
What a headache

Yeah, you CANNOT save on those final preview pages. I went back to the original application editing screens, hit "Save and Continue" and then went back to the previews and all was well.

My status page for them is still all jacked up.
