How long should you respond to secondaries after you receive them? What's the turn-around time?

Also, I'm still waiting to be verified. But once I am verified, will I receive all my secondaries at once? Should I start working on them while I'm still waiting so I'm not flooded by them?

Depends on how fast you work, and how quickly you feel comfortable with what you wrote. At the start I was waiting around a week to two weeks, but now since I have lots of base essays to recycle from, it has decreased to two to three days.

Also, I'm still waiting to be verified. But once I am verified, will I receive all my secondaries at once? Should I start working on them while I'm still waiting so I'm not flooded by them?

You do get a bunch when you are verified. But check if there are some available already that you can submit before verification.

I'm not expecting to be verified until September since I submitted my AMCAS shortly before the August MCAT. However, I've gotten a couple of secondaries already and I'm expecting to get flooded with them (since, to my knowledge, none of the schools on my list pre-screen) when I get back from vacation in mid-September. For the two I've gotten, one had no essays so I submitted it about an hour after noticing the email. For the second, I had to fill out 7 essays plus some other stuff so I took a little less than 2 days to complete and submit it. I personally am trying to stay on top of each of them just so I'm not as overwhelmed when I get back.

simple answer: YES. Once I got verfied I had to do 15 secondaries in 2 days.

Thankfully, I had done most of them while waiting for AM****CAS to verfiy my secondary...all i had to do was mail! You can get all the questions on Sdn.

Yup thats what I did. Before I got verified I sent out 14 secondaries that were emailed to me or available online and I could submit. I got the q's to the secondaries that I didn't get from this forum, and did them so now I'm just waiting to copy and paste.
