i have not yet submitted my aadsas application, however, i've heard that I have to eventually do secondaries. I am just wondering is this a process available to me only AFTER I submit? or can I obtain the prompt/secondary app before I submit and prepare in advance?

seems like i have to send my app first.... damn so they won't look at your app until you submit the secondaries?
usually what does secondaries consist of? are there more writing similar to PS? cuz if thats the case, ugh

You need to do your research before you post questions on this forum. Information on secondaries are on every school's website. Some are available before submitting, some are only sent after.

The thing is, I did do the research. Since I am only applying to California schools (so far anyways) minus Western, I looked on all the websites. Assuming I am looking at the right place... (admission process/requirement for DDS program) only UCLA provides the applicants with the secondary form. That is why i am asking here. Should've worded it more differently to address California schools though

UCSF and LLU will email to invite you to complete a secondary app and to pay their secondary fee
UoP requires you to pay the secondary fee immediately and no secondary is required (as far as I remember)
USC requires you to pay the secondary fee immediately. Secondary app will be sent via email or mail after an interview invite

I'll save you some time. Almost all schools ask the same questions, or some form of the following questions on the secondary:
1. Why should [the school] choose you?
2. Why are you choosing [that school]?
Other than those two questions it is the same info as AADSAS. Undergrad schools, references, DAT scores, pay them some money, and an occasional 2X2 photo of yourself. Hope this helps!
