Simple question:

Just how different do my essays have to be this time around vs. the last time I applied to the schools I'm applying to now?

I called VCU and they said it's better to change it up a little. I don't honestly get why my reasons to attend VCU have to change as I go from one year to the next.

I gave it my all writing those secondaries. I am finding it hard to improve upon myself.

Can anyone advise me on how to change my essays this time around?

Well I know for a fact that my main weakness was my MCAT. I've called several schools and that's what they said.

I not only had a low score, but a declining retake. I've retaken my MCAT and am waiting on the score.

Add in what you've done in the intervening time that makes you a better fit for the school, increased your resolve to go there, or improved yourself as a more prepared/mature candidate.
