I recently took some professional headshots (via a hobbyist friend) and received the photos today. However, I had previously submitted casual photos to three schools because I wanted to complete them sooner. Poor planning on my part. In the casual "headshot" you can see the upper part of my t-shirt and the image is clearly cropped from a larger photo.

After scouring through previous threads on this forum, I am now sufficiently paranoid. Should I email those three schools with my new professional headshot? Please let me know if that would just be a nuisance, and if I am being way too neurotic!

It's okay--as long as the t-shirt doesn't have some obscene slogan on it, you're fine. The headshot is just to identify you, not to judge you.

Emailing at this point wouldn't be the best look. The professional thing to do is find the home addresses of the adcoms at each school and mail it to them directly. This would help you stand out as an applicant and showcase your intellectual curiosity, innovative spirit, and resilience.

You sound like a laid back guy. I'm not on any ad coms, but a 525 mcat + casual shirt would be an auto accept.
