I was wondering what is considered to be a safe amount of time to work on a secondary before you submit it. I'm trying to find the balance between putting in enough effort and submitting early. I assume that this differs between schools, but on the whole, would four weeks be pushing it?

On the average, I am taking more than four weeks (especially including reciept of letters and certifications, etc). I turned in my AMCAS really early though, so I am hoping that it doesn't hurt me.

I'm in the same boat as clockitnow. I got my first ones in the beginning of July, and I'm about half done now. I took about 4-5 weeks for each of the ones I've submitted so far (submitted most of them recently). The MSTP personal statement was the thing that took the most amount of time.

Hopefully, the long wait won't count against us.
