Ok title is whack but I wanted to get attention. Is it true that the reason ADCOMS have applicants resubmit coureswork in the secondary is to calculate a "core" gpa that consists of only prereqs? In other words is prereq GPA more important than sGPA?

I suspect that it is because not all part of your app will be seen by interviewers. For me, I think that the pre-reqs are weeding courses only. I wanna see how you do with Bio courses.

Will it look bad to have a significant amount (10-15) of my science credits be research? These credits are by no means an easy A since my lab actually grades pretty strictly.

To me, it will appear to be fluff to up your GPA.
