I was just wondering if anyone has bought this book and if it is informative as it claims to be.

Thanks,

-dan

Sounds like a crock of you-know-what to me...

Ah, yeah. I wouldn't buy this book. Even if it was for real, you can probably find out more by hanging around here for a little while. There are actual adcomms and medical students on this forum.

The 5,000 offer is tempting. What if you only applied to Harvard, got rejected, and then claimed that the book failed?

Haha! How can you misspell Harvarde? It's only the most prestigious schoole in the world!

So perhaps I need to slow down when typing...

I'll bet that book would have some advice for me.

BTW, I believe Oxford is more prestigious.

And, ahem, you misspelled it as well. Irony is sweet.

No, as Carribean medical schools go, Oxford has nothing on Harvard.

😕
(and no, not by the misspelling - as someone on this thread likes to point out)

Look, I can't be expected to know how to spell the name of every little obscure sea. The Pacific ocean is vast and there are a lot of other seas that are a part of it that are more important to world history. I suggest the OP just pick between Oxford and "Harvard" (if that's even a real school) and be done with it.

No, I'm confused about what Oxford has to do with the Caribbean...

You do know that Harvard and Oxford are NOT in the carribean right? I mean come on that's basic knowledge.

Well, I've never heard of either or them so I just assumed they were on Grenada or somewhere like that. I apologize to the Canadians for incorrectly identifying two of your no doubt fine medical schools.

Ha ha ha ha.... Isn't Harvard like the Duke of the North or something?

Panda, you kick ass.

Seriously how can you not have known that, I am shocked and appalled. 😱

what? harvarde is misspelled? but it's a coole schoole.

in terms of prestige, you gotta love cambridge.

Next time I'm in the Pacific, I'll definitely be sure to drop by the Caribbean...

I have some experience with Duke and I have to concede that it is either a very presitigious university or one serious kick-ass community college. That place is huge.

i guess that's what the marines drilled into panda bear's head

Hey, HumbleMD, why don't you be a little more "humble" and stop nitpicking over asinine spelling errors.😴 😴

How could anyone not have known that Panda is joking? Unless Pinkertinkle was joking too. If that's the case, then I have no idea what's going on.

C'mon guys you know that Harvard is the old home of the NHL Whalers the best franchise ever 🙄. I am surprised that school survived once the team abandoned Connecticut?!? Must be a government subsidized university or something? weird.

You guys want to get back on topic or what?

I think the reason that it is so off-topic here, is that this book is most likely a scam. This is the same "company" that spammed the interview feedback forum a little while ago. There is no "easy" road to medical school; do the work, pray hard, and let the rest of it go.
