Why would Epinephrine not work in this case? Doesn't epinephrine promote glycogenolysis, which would create more glucose and stop the brain damage? Sorry about the picture, I am unable to print screen right now.

Epinephrine is an amino acid derived hormone (derived from tyrosine), not a peptide hormone. Epi and Glucagon both mobilize glucose and dump it into the bloodstream.
