Technology security dilemma

For phone service I use www.vonage.com I also have www.adt.com My problem is I cant find a way to rig my adt security line to my phone line. ADT automatically calls emergency numbers through the phone line, but it wont if its not connected to the phone line. ADT was stumped so I wondered if any of you had any suggestions.

As far as I know, Vonage doesn't allow transfer of data (fax, dialup modems, etc.).
