Has anyone heard anything from UF?

I figure that they are most likely done with pre-dec interviews..but there is not much info up on predents or these forums about UF.

So anyone with information please share.

Well there is not much to tell, I interviewed in October and the basic breakdown is that they really only invite if you are a serious candidate (like most schools i guess), also they favor instate heavily (8 out of 10), and yes they will be inviting some more i believe, but not many.

they are interviewing pre-dec a little over 200 and will be handing out a good portion of their 83 seats on dec. 1 and leaving a select few open for people who will still be interviewing later on.

Alec is pretty much dead on.

I interviewed in July, and they let me know that they interview 300 people total, favor instate heavily, and meet at the end of November to make final decisions about all the interviews.

I interviewed at UF in August and was told the same things. However, I believe they do hold some interviews in January and February. But as previously stated they will give out initial acceptances on Dec 1st and then start pulling from the alternate list. The good news is that the alternate list is weighted so if you do end up getting an interview post Dec 1st, you will be at no disadvantage to an applicant that interviewed Pre Dec 1st and did not recieve acceptance into the initial class.
