So I was parousing some of the topics and I saw people talking about self-studying AP classes. I searched for an explanation but i couldn't really find one. How do you do a self-study AP class, and when are they offered? Thanks in advance!

This has been posted and answered many times before. Please use the search feature, it is there for a reason.

The search bar doesn't work on my iPhone but I googles it

Personally, I think it's good to take AP classes while in high school but the tests themselves are pointless especially if you're thinking about medicine. Med schools care about GPA and MCAT. By placing out of easy classes you don't get the As in those classes and instead you're making it hard on yourself by taking higher level classes for no reason. Med schools don't give a **** about what classes you take but how you do in those classes.

I've said this multiple times ... your high school mentality is not gonna work in college and your college mentality is not gonna work in med school. It's about learning what's required of you at each stage and adapting.

ex: colleges care about what classes you take in HS that's why you take APs, med schools don't that's why there's no point in taking upper level/harder classes when you're only a freshman merely to impress them. THEY DON"T CARE!!

I am seriously considering a career in Pharmacy. I'm currently a Junior but i feel pressured to make decisions about what i want to do right away. i hear people saying that I shouldn't worry because I'm only in HS but I feel if i dont make a choice soon there will be classes that I should have taken but I didnt because I haven't chosen a career path.

Well when you get to college if you are still unsure you could simply start taking your GE courses and then start randomly taking classes that you find interesting and decide what you like, but be cautious about taking classes that may pull your GPA down if you someday decide to switch back and go the path of an MD/Do.
