Looking at some of these threads here... correct me if I'm wrong. Hold = waiting list = unofficial acceptance? How does the waiting list thingie function... are you basically a number behind some other numbers? And how long is one generally stuck on a waiting list?

I think it's more like Hold = unofficial rejection. The whole waiting list thing depends on too many other variables so we won't even get into that here. That is all...thank you.
