i made 6 a's and 1 b this semester and still feel like crap. this can't be normal for someone to feel like this. someone needs to tell me to chill the hell out

6 As and 1 B is excellent. Seriously. Those grades are nothing to feel like crap about.

I feel ya, although there is no rational reason to it. I have 160 credits of A's and I'm probably gonna get an A- or B+ for the first time in a lame ass class like accounting because i've been gone for interviews. It doesn't matter at all but it's hard to just not be a bit irritated by it.

Not trying to be a "complete dick"... But- Shut the hell up...

But 160 hours of A's is freaking insane, congrats!!!!

Just get worse grades next semester. Try and fail a class miserably. It'll put things in perspective, and all your problems will be solved.

i think this falls under the category of problems many not as well off sdn-ers would love to have

in the quest for perfection a bump in the road (no matter how small) is going to feel like a pothole big enough to rip your tire off (even when its just a B).

just use it to push yourself even harder next semester....how good did all those As feel?...imagine how good all As will feel....and go get your fix of satisfaction XD

and congrats to all those As this semester! (to all you hard working sdn-ers👍)

now go take a break and enjoy yourself (...after finals😛)

Yeah, I know it isn't really a thing to complain about but there is a psychological component to it. It's like those billionaires during the recent financial crisis who committed suicide because they were now "only" worth $9B or something. Unbelievable.

Haha, at least we're not as bad as this guy...

I once got pissed at myself for getting a SOLID A on my O-chem midterm, pre curve, b/c it was the 2nd highest grade. I felt like...

However, SDN has taught me to realize that this attitude is in fact a ticking time bomb that needs to be resolved ASAP. Needless to say, I am a much happier person and better student now. I definitely understand where you are coming from, but don't continue down that path.

Ok this guy's awesomeness just blew my (now) seemingly stupid example out of the park.

Wow a B, gl at med school.
QFT

But seriously, if those are all 3.0 credit courses, your cumulative for the semester is 3.857. Chill out.

The cutoff for getting into medical school is 4.00. If you have 3.99999 you will not be accepted. You need to reevaluate your career goals.

Sorry dude, you may call yourself "Bac Si", but you don't have enough potential to be one. Sorry, a B won't cut it for med school, choose another career path, LOSER!!!! :meanie:

I just made sure to do bad enough my first quarter freshman year that every other quarter would feel awesome. 👍 Working great so far.

3.85 seems like a good gpa. the B is disappointing tho
