Send in applications now or later?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Wait to send your AACOMAS to rest of the schools because when you get you new MCAT score you can add those schools since you are already verified. It's better than getting auto rejected.

I wouldn't bother with MD, yet, unless you are applying to PR.

@StarFall ...PR is located in the caribbean, but their schools are LCME accredited i.e they are US MD schools. Therefore, if you are Puerto Rican or you speak Spanish, these schools might be ok...

I would personally wait until your new score posts. DO schools run on a different timeline. October is a little late, but not too late to prevent you from possibly getting in

Not hispanic and either way, I've done my research and would rather wait until next cycle than try my hand at Carribean schools.. Thanks though!
If you are not Hispanic or you don't speak Spanish, PR schools are not for you. But FYI, PR is a commonwealth of the US i.e it's a US state even if it's located in the Caribbean... GL

Either way really. You can send your MCAT score now or you can wait. Schools will be able to see both scores regardless if you wait or not.

I'd wait for your MCAT and maybe some course retakes. Your sGPA is pretty low (although not totally terrible for DO), but your cGPA is really low for a psychology major. Your MCAT is also really low (national average for everyone taking it is ~25 with DO school matriculants ~27 and MD ~31). Certainly this varies depending on school, but you're not in a good position. ECs won't really save you in this case. Keep in mind these schools will happily collect that secondary money from you while not bothering to give your application a second look.

Yes agreed, I have heard anytime before November/December is not too late. November and December and onwards, you are pushing it.

Phew...that is good to hear about October not being too late. I have a low MCAT and am scheduled for a retake in August. I won't receive my scores until September. Looks like I will submit my primary to have it verified and then update it once I have my new MCAT.
