Could use some advice on the best time to send in my application. Currently my uGPA is 2.93, SMP gpa is 4.0, and I'm averaging 35+ on my practice mcats 10 weeks out so assume my MCAT is around there. average EC's. Have an older MCAT score of 31 that will be expired at most schools.
I'm considering going back and taking undergrad classes over the summer to get my gpa over a 3.0. Would it be worth it to delay sending my primary until late july/early august to get over that 3.0 hump? Delaying my application would also let me fit in about 200 more clinical volunteering hours.
Thanks!
Please no posts saying I'm not getting in regardless, I know my chances are low, just looking to maximize my chances.
