Is it alright to send in my LORs before I submit my final secondary (but only after I've been invited to complete a secondary). I just don't want my LORs getting lost in the shuffle if they aren't supposed to be there yet... but it would help my nerves if I could get in everything as soon as it's ready! Anyone know what's acceptable for this? 😕

I think it probably depends on the school and their preferences. I know GW explicitly mentions that they don't care if they get your LORs before your secondary but you probably shouldn't assume this is the case for all schools. My advice is to check with your schools individually just to be safe.

Case Western doesn't care, but Stanford strongly advises against it (they only want your LORs after they've received your secondary)...so I guess it's really up to the school. Check out their websites for rec letter guidelines 🙂
