Did any of you guys send a thank you email to any of your interviewers? Is this necessary or does it just look like you're trying to kiss ass?

Do a search for this topic and find out. Its been discussed many times.

I sent out thank you cards to my interviewers. I dont think its kissing ass..at least i hope not. i thought that becasue most people do its more of an expected thing..but this might only be my thoughts on this issue.🙂

A mailed thank you card should suffice.

some schools send out thank-you emails when they've interviewed you, i only reply to those schools.

I think sending thank you cards is great. It really shows that you did not take your interview for granted.

Plus, what's wrong with kissing ass?

i sent thank you letters to all the places i interviewed at (except columbia). at BU i sent an e-mail thank you's because i was so sick and tired of writing out letters and mailing them. BU was the only place that responded to my thank you letters (via e-mail), and in a few of my letters i mentioned the fact that i was congnizant of the fact that letters of this sort were always a bit cliche and contrived.

If you are broke like me:
I sent thank you letters ?via the email? to most of the schools I interviewed at. It doesn't help your chances of getting in -- just a nice/classy thing to do. I don?t think they mind either way. Email me if you need a template for this.
