I sent an update letter to all of my schools early today stating that I will be taking biochemistry and another upper-level biology course next semester at College X (random name for anonymity). I had some reservations about taking these classes at College X because College X's ranking is quite low, and I preferred to "prove myself" in upper level courses at a school that is ranked comparably to the school at which I completed my past coursework.
After sending the update letters, by sheer luck and also bad timing, I discovered that my boss was able to pull some strings at Preferred College so I could get off the insanely long waitlist for Biochemistry. It's not all worked out yet, but I think it's safe to assume I'll be taking Biochemistry at Preferred College.
Only problem is that I've already updated all my schools with information about College X. I'm kicking myself for the bad timing, and I really hate to bother the Admissions Office with more work of adding yet another update letter to my file. (I wouldn't send another update letter until my registration at Preferred College is finalized.) Suggestions? Wait a few weeks?
